Too high (500+): The fabric becomes too dense and loses its cooling effect (like a tarpaulin). We use precisely the density that guarantees maximum breathability.

What does the "Signature Soft" finish mean?

Pillowcases lie directly against the delicate skin of the face. Classic percale can initially feel stiff. Our Signature Soft finish mechanically breaks down this stiffness. The result is a fabric that retains the cooling freshness of percale but immediately feels soft and smooth against the cheek.

How durable is organic percale compared to satin?

Percale is considered extremely durable thanks to its plain weave. Because the threads are tightly and evenly interwoven, the fabric hardly pills – even with stubble or frequent tossing and turning in the sleeper. It retains its shape and smooth texture even after many years.

Do I need to iron the pillowcases?

It's a matter of taste. Because we don't use chemical anti-wrinkle coatings, our organic percale develops a natural texture ("elegant creases") after washing. Those who prefer a clean, smooth hotel look can iron the cover while slightly damp. For a relaxed, modern style, simply air-drying it is perfectly sufficient.

Are the zippers noticeable?

No. This is especially important in the head area. We exclusively use high-quality, smooth-running zippers that are fully protected by a concealed flap ("hidden zipper"). This guarantees that no metal part touches your skin or detracts from the pillow's appearance.

Does this fabric help against sweating on the head?

Absolutely. We lose most of our body heat through our heads at night. The breathable weave of our organic percale allows air to circulate and wicks away moisture immediately. This prevents heat build-up in the neck area and ensures a dry, cool sleeping environment – ideal for "hot sleepers".

Is the cover suitable for allergy sufferers?

Yes. The particularly dense weave acts as a natural barrier against mites penetrating the pillow. Since hygiene is especially important for the head, all covers are washable at 60°C, reliably removing allergens and bacteria.
