Which sizes are available?

Our muslin pillowcases always come as a set of 2 in seven sizes:

• 30x50 cm: rectangular cushions and neck pillows.
• 40x40 cm: sofa and decorative cushions.
• 40x60 cm & 40x70 cm: children's pillows, slim and ergonomic pillows.
• 40x80 cm: the German standard pillow, also for modern hotel styling.
• 70x90 cm & 80x80 cm: large comfort pillows and the classic German pillow size.

How do these differ from the pillowcases in the duvet set?

The duvet cover sets include 80x80 cm pillowcases. All other sizes – especially 40x80 cm for layering – are available here in sets of 2, in the same three-layer muslin and the same four colours.

Why muslin for pillowcases?

Because the pillow is the fabric your skin and hair rest on all night. Three-layer muslin at 180 g/m² is soft, matte and breathable, with no easy-care finish and no optical brighteners – good for sensitive skin and for everyone who likes it cosy and relaxed.

Do the pillowcases shrink in the wash?

Muslin shrinks once in the first wash. We have already factored the shrinkage into the cut: the stated size is the size after washing, and the pillow fits from day one.

How do I wash muslin pillowcases?

At 40 °C in the machine, zip closed. Liquid detergent without bleach, no fabric softener. Tumble-dry safe on low. Do not iron – the crinkle is intended and comes back after every drying.

Can I combine muslin pillowcases with other bedding?

Very well indeed. Muslin in White, Beige, Dark Grey or Dark Green adds texture to a smooth bed of percale, Egyptian cotton sateen or lyocell – the layering you know from boutique hotels.

What closure do the pillowcases have?

A concealed YKK® zip in matching colour on the side. No buttons, no hotel closure, no pillow slipping out.
